Kentmorr is nestled on the banks of the Chesapeake Bay conveniently located five minutes from the Bay Bridge and a short distance from Annapolis, Maryland. Tucked away in a quiet community with Boat Marina and Airstrip, Kentmorr is a unique setting for your Wedding Reception. Ceremonies may be held on our private beach with the scenic Chesapeake Bay as the backdrop and Receptions to follow on the tented Chesapeake Lawn or enclosed Patio depending on the season.

Kentmorr has a complimentary onsite Wedding Coordinator to assist you in planning all the details of your special day.

Ceremonies

Kentmorr private beach is available for ceremonies with or without the Reception. A Ceremony with Reception to follow is available Saturday or Sunday beginning no later than 1:00. An onsite coordinator will help with the orchestration of your Ceremony.

Kentmorr is available for parties of up to 125 guests using either our enclosed Patio or Tent overlooking the Bay. Starting no later than 1:00 for a 4 hour Reception.

Kentmorr is available for parties of 150 - 25o guests (seasonally) using the enclosed patio with adjoining tents overlooking the Bay. Starting no later than 2:00 for a 4 hour Reception.

Enclosed Patio Receptions

The enclosed patio is available for Receptions by the hour. A 4 hour Reception is recommended for parties of 75 guests or more. The final guests count will determine the size of the patio needed.

Tented Receptions

A tent site is available May - September on the Chesapeake lawn. The amount of guests will determine the size of the tent and the number of tables & chairs that will need to be rented.

Deposit

A 500.00 deposit is required to secure the event date. In case of cancellation, if the event is cancelled up to 90 days prior to the scheduled date of the function, the deposit will be returned.

Requirements for a Marriage License in Queen Anne's County

The cost to apply for a Marriage License is 35.00. Cash or Checks are accepted only. The Circuit Court does not accept Credit Cards

Only one person needs to apply in person at the circuit court

There is no blood test required in Maryland

You must provide the following information for each person: Name, age, date of birth, birth place, current address and marital status. If either party has been married, you must have the exact month, day, year, county & state that all marriages expired. No documentation is required. Social Security Numbers are required for both.

If you are 20 years old or younger, you must provide a Drivers License or Birth Certificate for proof of age.

The application process takes less than 15 minutes however there is a 48 hour waiting period.

There are certain laws that apply to minors.

Civil Ceremonies performed at the Courthouse

Civil Ceremonies can be performed at the courthouse Monday-Friday from 2-4pm by appointment only.

The cost is 25.00 cash or check and no witnesses are required.
